Annual theme-related retreats
Annual workshops/retreats will be held to help establish and support the relevant bioinformatics/computational biology communities in Victoria. The retreats are specifically aimed at practitioners in life science computation, and a reasonable level of technical knowledge is assumed. Representative participants from research organisations in Victoria are invited to introduce themselves and present a short talk on activities within their group/institute. The primary objectives of the retreats are knowledge transfer and community building.
Regular theme-related user-group meetings
The LSCC hosts regular user-group meetings covering specific themes in life science computation, with participants from La Trobe, Monash and Melbourne Universities and collaborating institutions.
Workshops and tutorials
The LSCC develops and delivers workshops and tutorials on topics directly related to LSCC Themes. Contact the LSCC Head for more information.
